Program Overview 
The Master of Public Administration (MPA) program is designed to elevate the standards of public sector and non-profit management in Somalia by fostering ethical leadership and providing a robust theoretical foundation in public administration. This program equips students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel as managers, executives, and policy analysts within the executive branches of local, state/provincial, and federal/national governments, as well as in non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and the nonprofit sector. A key emphasis is placed on the systematic exploration of executive organization and management; ensuring graduates are well-prepared to address complex administrative challenges.
Program Objectives
The program aims to: 
1.    Develop a Strong Academic Foundation: Acquire comprehensive knowledge and training in research methods, public management, public affairs, nonprofit leadership, marketing, and management.
2.    Excel in Diverse Administrative Roles: Be equipped to pursue and excel in a variety of administrative positions within the public sector, demonstrating adaptability and expertise.
3.    Apply Managerial Skills Across Sectors: Demonstrate the ability to effectively apply managerial and leadership skills in diverse environments, including local government, nonprofit organizations, and the private sector.

Admission Requirements 
Prospective students interested in enrolling in the program must meet the following admission requirements:
1.    A completed application form.
2.    Official transcripts from the previously attended university (3 copies).
3.    A bachelor’s degree certificate.
4.    Six passport-sized photographs (1x1 inch).
5.    Reference letters from an instructor or employer (3 copies).
6.    Demonstration of language proficiency as part of the academic evaluation process.

Course Structure 
Students are required to complete twelve (12) mandatory core courses during the first three semesters, which establish the foundational knowledge essential for their management studies. In the final semester, students will select three elective courses focused on finance and undertake a graduation project. These courses are presented in the following table.
