Financial Assistance and Contributions
To enhance students’ knowledge, University of Somalia encourages students, regardless of their study programs, to organize and implement extra curricula activities and knowledge exhibition ceremonies. Accordingly, the finance department has allocated $200 contribution fee to those students who decide to hold knowledge exhibition ceremonies or especial extra curricula activities. Also the university is encouraging students to carryout research studies in their respective areas of specialization. If a student or group of students comes up with an intriguing and insightful research proposal, the university authority through the finance department shall look into the topic and ascertain its importance and would decide on the possibility of financial assistance accordingly. Therefore, students should submit “Financial Assistance Application Letter” approved by the Dean of the FACULTY and DVC for academic affairs one week before the date of the ceremony, exhibition or research.
